Gettysburg Pictures

One building in the town of Gettysburg

This is a view of one of the fields of flowers you see when entering Gettysburg National Park

Just more flowers in a meadow

Northern soldier uniform

Southern soldier - note hat

A unit of black soldiers (from the film)

Interesting shot from the film

Just one of the many statues.

General Henry Slocum

Maybe we'll go back here and take the driving tour. Depends on the weather some.

Wanted to add some pictures I took in Gettysburg. Spent most of the day working and playing with the blog. Still a couple of things I can’t figure out how to do. Mainly pictures so they make sense. Practice, practice… As you can tell haven't got the picture thing down yet.
Later in the day Wednesday we went into Hershey to eat linner – lunch/dinner – then drove around the town a little. Really pretty town. Very clean, lots of nice homes and landscaping. They have a beautiful library and recreation area. So many of the homes are duplexes – for lack of a better word. One building two homes. Some are painted a different color on each side. Guess this is an Eastern thing. Then we stopped at a grocery store and Bill found egg bagels haven’t been able to find any since we left Vegas. So he’s a happy camper.

Had just returned to the campground and the rain came. It was so loud on the roof we couldn’t hear the TV. The weather has also messed with the Internet provided by the campground. Only works off and on now. Called Hughes.Net but couldn't get any satisfaction from them for our Internet ....Will have to wait until we change locations and see if it works then.

Will try to catch this up to date later
